Masso Cars & Co. handles, on the customer's behalf, the organization and execution of customs clearance in Bremerhaven to ensure a compliant and smooth import of your vehicle into the EU. We prepare all necessary customs documents, submit the customs declaration, and take care of the proper handling of all applicable import duties and taxes.

Upon import in Bremerhaven, the following costs apply depending on the vehicle model and age:

PKW
  • 10% Customs duties on the purchase price + transport costs + insurance up to the EU border (Bremerhaven)
  • 19% Import VAT on the subtotal, as well as any unloading and handling costs up to the first destination.
Motorcycles
  • 6% / 8% Customs duties on the purchase price + transport costs + insurance up to the EU border (Bremerhaven) (je nach Modell)
  • 19% Import VAT on the subtotal, as well as any unloading and handling costs up to the first destination.
Classic Cars
  • 0% Customs duties (none)
  • 7% Import VAT on the subtotal, as well as any unloading and handling costs up to the first destination.
Jet Ski
  • 2.7% Customs duties on the purchase price + transport costs + insurance up to the EU border (Bremerhaven)
  • 19% Import VAT on the subtotal, as well as any unloading and handling costs up to the first destination.

What documents do we need from you?

For a smooth and successful customs clearance, we need the following documents from you:

  • Vehicle documents (Title / Certificate of Ownership)
  • Vehicle Purchase Invoice (Bill of Sale)
  • Copy of the owner's passport / identity card
  • Export / shipping documents (e.g. Bill of Lading)
  • Power of Attorney– obtain directly from us
  • Customs exemption certificate for personal effects (if applicable)
After customs clearance

Once customs clearance is complete and all customs duties as well as import VAT (EUSt) have been paid, the customs office issues a customs clearance certificate. This document is usually required for the registration of the vehicle in Germany.

die Befreiung möglich ist und welche Nachweise Sie brauchen.

In der Regel benötigen wir die wichtigsten Importunterlagen wie z.b Bill of Sale,
Fahrzeugpapiere (Title), Transportdokumente (z. B. Bill of Lading / Shipping-Dokumente),
Vollmacht, damit wir in Ihrem Auftrag handeln können. Wir prüfen alles vorab und sagen
Ihnen genau, was in Ihrem Fall fehlt oder ergänzt werden muss.

Wir berechnen die voraussichtlichen Zollabgaben und die Einfuhrumsatzsteuer transparent
und können Ihnen vorab eine Kostenschätzung geben. Diese Abgaben sind staatliche
Gebühren, die bei der Einfuhr direkt anfallen. Die Kosten werden dem Kunden 1:1
weiterbelastet und sind nicht Teil unserer Dienstleistungsvergütung.

Ja. Auch wenn der Transport bereits organisiert ist, übernehmen wir gerne
